OH NO!

Today it was reported that Telkom divesting their Vodacom share and selling their fixed line business to MTN has come to a halt - check it out

I don't want to be negative here but geez...I see this as potentially being a major blow to the telecommunications progression in South Africa. I believe in deregulation and privatization of this sector - less government here is good for everyone! (IMHO, I think talks broke down because of politics vs the financials, structures and strategy)

Maybe we should blame this on the weather? So, who did the lightning strike out? - ARGH!!!
